The academic year 2023-24 has been a testament to the resilience, dedication, and unity of our college community. Our collective efforts have helped us heights of excellence and innovation. The College union election was held. The following students were chosen unanimously to lead the college union during the academic year 2023-24.

Academic Excellence: Our commitment to academic excellence remains unwavering, with our students consistently excelling in various academic pursuits. Through a number of workshops, seminars, and academic initiatives organized by the College Union, we have fostered an environment conducive to learning and intellectual growth. Our students have showcased their talents and capabilities not only within the confines of our classrooms but also on various national and international platforms, bringing fame to our college.

Cultural and Extracurricular Activities: Our college has always been a hub of cultural diversity and artistic expression. Throughout the year, the College Union has organized numerous cultural events, competitions, and festivals that have provided a platform for our students to showcase their talents and celebrate their cultural heritage. These events have not only fostered a sense of belonging but have also promoted cross-cultural understanding and appreciation. Many students got the opportunity to represent the college at various events held at district, state and national level.

Clubs and Cells: Various departments along with the active participation of college union and IQAC, could host clubs and cells to foster new knowledge. The clubs were competent enough to organise competitions and events for special days to create awareness among students. At present, our college ensures the proper functioning of 31 active clubs.

Community Engagement and Social Responsibility: As responsible members of society, it is important to extend our support and assistance to those in need. The College Union and the NSS unit of Vigyaan College (118 A &B) has been actively involved in various community engagement initiatives, including blood donation drives, cleanliness campaigns, and educational outreach programs. Through these endeavors, we have sought to make a positive impact on the lives of others and instill a sense of social responsibility among our students.

Leadership Development: One of the primary objectives of the College Union is to nurture the leaders of tomorrow. Through leadership training programs, mentorship initiatives, and opportunities for student governance, we have empowered our students to become effective leaders and agents of change. The College Union has provided a platform for students to voice their opinions, express their ideas, and actively participate in the decision-making processes of our college.
