YIP (Young Innovators Programme)

YIP (Young Innovators Programme)

The Young Innovators Program of Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC) seeks to promote a culture of innovation in Kerala. It is structured around a philosophy of design-based learning, and is envisioned to be a massive, open, inclusive, collaborative program aimed at identifying and nurturing young innovators. Through a multi-stage process, K-DISC selects the best young innovators with innovative ideas to critical issues from across Kerala. The young innovators are provided requisite training and skill development, mentorship and resources to help them work towards building their solutions to their chosen problems.

Vigyaan College of Applied Sciences bagged tenth position in the district at YIP 5.0.

Ms Abja G Rasheed, YIP Coordinator, received the seventh best facilitator award in the district.

Thirteen teams from the college are shortlisted to the state level YIP 5.0.
