Rules and Regulations
At VICAS, we are committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all members of our community. As a student of our college, you are expected to adhere to the following code of conduct:
- Uphold the highest standards of academic honesty and integrity in all academic pursuits.
- Should reach the campus on time, neatly and modestly dressed
- Should check the college notice boards daily
- Should wear the college identity tag everyday
- Should not leave the campus during class hours
- Should not have visitors in the college
- The use of mobile phones is prohibited on campus. Students can keep their mobile phones in the lockers provided.
- Should keep the campus neat and tidy. They have to compensate for ant loss to college property
- Avoid use of plastic as the campus is plastic free (follows green protocol)
- Ragging is banned in the institution. Complaints, if any, should be lodged with the Anti-Ragging Cell and if found guilty, is punishable under law.
- Unauthorised collection of funds by students is not permitted.
- Should not organise any meetings with the prior permission of the Principal
- Should treat all members of the college community with dignity, respect, and kindness.
- Should value and celebrate the diversity of backgrounds, perspectives, and identities represented within our community.
- Should refrain from behaviour that demeans, discriminates against, or harasses others on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic.
- Exercise responsible judgment and self-discipline both on and off campus, recognizing that your actions reflect upon yourself and the college community as a whole.
- Contribute positively to the welfare of the community through active participation in campus activities, clubs, and organizations.
- Familiarize yourself with and adhere to all college policies, rules, and regulations.
- Cooperate with college officials, faculty, and staff in the enforcement of college policies
